The solar post caps for wood posts are made to fit both standard 4x4 wooden posts (LZCW45) you can buy at Home Depot or Lowe's (4x4 wooden posts true dimensions are really 3 ½” x 3 ½”) OR a custom wooden post that has a true 4" x 4" dimension - either way, our wooden solar post caps will shine!
Our wooden post solar post caps come with two (2) wood screws for easy installation. Simply pull the solar post cap apart at its base, center the 360 degree lens base on top of your post, screw in the two (2) wood screws, and snap the solar top back on the base and you're done. It is literally that simple!
We also carry vinyl solar post caps or solar deck lights in square sizes of 3 ½”, 4”, and 5” - all three designs are for 3 ½”, 4”, and 5” standard vinyl posts and can be used on new construction or to retrofit existing vinyl posts and fences. All three vinyl solar post caps feature a "slip-over" design - simply snap them on or you can use an outdoor adhesive to secure them.
Our solar post caps gather the sun's energy via a commercial grade solar panel on top of each solar post cap and stores it in two (2) re-chargeable batteries, which are included. The stored energy is converted into beautiful and functional light at night.
